What We Offer
Yadkin Path offers the only Montessori curriculum in Rowan County, NC. We welcome children of all ethnicities, religions, and economic backgrounds. Children six weeks to seven years of age may enroll in Play School, Day School, Extended Day, and Summer Camp Programs. Children in kindergarten through 8th grade may enroll in our School Hub, Summer Camps, an After School Care.
Our students learn through hands-on experiences, giving them new motor, social, cognitive, and language skills as well as foundations in math, reading, writing, thinking and problem-solving, and practical life skills. Our curriculum focuses on developing and refining the social graces that children will use throughout their lives, and on our community's history, environment, geography, systems, issues, and diverse cultures.
Age, developmental readiness, space availability and classroom dynamics are all factors for admission to each program. Our priority is to enroll children whose families understand and are committed to our values and philosophy. We make every effort to admit each child who applies into a classroom.
Admission into the primary classroom (age 3-2nd grade) also requires a teacher-student interview to assess each child's unique strengths and challenges, and how we may best suit his or her needs.

"Our son has been enrolled in the preschool room at Yadkin Path for the last 8 months. He has really thrived in every way and loves his teacher and going to school. His vocabulary and overall patience have both flourished. We also love the atmosphere and that he spends a lot of time outdoors. It is such a beautiful facility built with care and love. We feel so lucky to have our child be able to have this opportunity." -Nicole P.
"YP was a breath of fresh air for our family when we needed to find alternative care for our child and at the same time prepared for another child to be born. Both are thriving in their development because of the YP team and the focus on practical materials and life skills." -Peter F.
